The College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University offers a unique array of interprofessional degree programs that span nursing, nutrition, exercise and wellness, and continuing education programs. The Maricopa County Community College District is the largest provider of training programs, healthcare workers, and post secondary education in Arizona, serving a quarter million students annually through ten colleges, two skill centers, and multiple campuses and sites. The Maricopa Community Colleges offer 9,057 academic and occupational courses in addition to 608 occupational programs. The seven academic associate degrees offered are in Arts, Applied Science, Business, Elementary Education, Science, General Studies, and Transfer Partnership degrees. The Maricopa Community Colleges also offer Certificates of Completion in various occupational programs. Mesa Community College is the largest of the Maricopa Community Colleges. The Scottsdale Community College Business Institute, offers accelerated 5-week business courses for working adults in three convenient formats: on-line, on-campus, and hybrid. The Business Fastrack program consists of eleven classes culminating in a 33-credit certificate and/or a 64-credit associate of applied science degree. You may also take several courses a la carte. A certificate may be earned in as little as 9 months! Course topics include accounting, human resources, management, marketing, international business, and communication. On-campus courses meet one night per week. Online courses have no designated meeting times and assignments are due weekly. South Mountain Community College is a small, customer-service college that year to year has added exciting programs and services to assist students in reaching their higher educational goals. SMCC offers an economical means to go to college, obtain an associate's degree, and transfer to earn a bachelor's degree. We are not only affordable, we also provide an intimate setting to ease the transition from high school, the college, and then the university. Wayland Baptist University was founded in 1908 as a private liberal arts institute of higher education. Since that time it has developed extensive adult-based learner programs. With over a dozen campuses in half a dozen states, Wayland grants degrees to approximately 15% of all active Army and Air Force personnel.
